Activity 2: Shading a Paperless Animation

In this video, you will learn how to add shading to your coloured animation. You can either use the Art layers if you use Harmony Premium or Advanced. You can also duplicate your animation layer and shade the drawings on that new layer. You will also see how to use the Auto-Flatten mode.

You will then learn how to use the Tone node to clip any additional artwork and stylize the shading. For Harmony Premium, you will learn to use the Node view and Node Library views to create some basic compositing.
