Forbid Drawing on Panel Thumbnails

By default, this preference is enabled, preventing you from drawings on the panels in the Thumbnails view. Turn off this option if you want to use all the Drawing tools directly in the Thumbnails view. This can be useful when wanting to sketch quick thumbnails and to revisit those later in the drawing view to add more details. If this option is disabled, you will be able to draw in panel thumbnails inside the Thumbnail view of all workspaces.

How to allow drawing on panel thumbnails
  1. Select Edit > Preferences.
  2. Go to the General tab of the Preferences.
  3. Under General, uncheck the option Forbid drawing on panel thumbnails.
  4. Press OK to close the Preferences.
