Activity 1: Timing Charts and Animating Key Poses

In this video, you will learn how to prepare the export storyboard scenes for animation. You will also see how to prepare your key poses and breakdowns. Depending on the workflow you are most used to, you can either use the Xsheet (Time sheet, Dope sheet, Exposure Sheet) or the Timeline view.

Next, you will go through the entire rough animation process focusing on movement and energy. You will also get a complete explanation on how to create and use timing chart to properly time your animation. You will learn about the different types of easing: linear, ease-in, ease-out, and ease-in and out.
