The Pencil Tool has had some improvements added in Storyboard Pro 20. Not only can you now apply textures to your Pencil lines, but you can also retain these textures when converting your Pencil lines to Brush.
How to use pencil textures
- In the Tool Properties window, click on the Show Extended Properties menu.
- Select the Texture tab.
- Select the preferred texture.
How to convert textured pencil lines to brush
- After drawing your textured Pencil line, in the Tools toolbar click the Select
tool. - In the Camera view, select the line you want to convert.
- Right-click and select Convert > Pencil Lines to Brush Strokes. The texture will be retained in Brush form.
